Storage
Pauley Plastic's Storage Recommendations

Storing PVC profiles properly is essential to maintain their quality and prevent damage. Here are some instructions to help you store PVC profiles correctly:
1. Select a suitable storage location: Find a clean, dry, and well-ventilated area for storing your PVC profiles. The storage area should be protected from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and moisture. Ideally, the temperature should be between 10°C and 30°C (50°F and 86°F).
2. Arrange profiles in a flat position: PVC profiles should be stored horizontally or flat to prevent warping or deformation. Avoid stacking them vertically, as it can lead to bending or distortion over time.
3. Use suitable support: If you need to stack multiple profiles, place appropriate support between each layer to prevent excessive pressure on the lower profiles. You can use wooden slats or similar materials to provide even support.
4. Protect profiles from dust and dirt: Cover the stored profiles with a clean cloth or plastic sheet to keep them protected from dust, dirt, and other contaminants. This step is particularly crucial if the storage area is prone to dust accumulation.
5. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight: Prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause discoloration and deterioration of PVC profiles. Ensure that the storage area is shielded from direct sunlight to maintain the profiles' quality.
6. Prevent contact with solvents or chemicals: PVC profiles can react to certain solvents or chemicals, leading to discoloration or degradation. Keep the storage area free from any substances that might cause harm to the profiles.
7. Inspect periodically: Regularly check the stored PVC profiles for any signs of damage, such as cracks, warping, or changes in color. If you notice any issues, separate the damaged profiles to prevent further deterioration.
8. Coiled Trim: We recommend removing all coiled trim from packaging and storing flat immediately upon receipt. Do so will prevent damage to prodcut

By following these instructions, you can ensure that your PVC profiles remain in good condition and ready for use when needed.
